Hack 1.0.3

Hack sits between Rogue and NetHack. Jay Fenlason started it in 1982, and Andries Brouwer greatly extended it until 1985. NetHack grew out of Hack, and NetBSD still maintains Hack 1.0.3 today.

This page runs Hack 1.0.3 from NetBSD's source, under the BSD 3-Clause licence. It is compiled for DOS with OpenWatcom, and the DOS program is translated to C and WebAssembly. Walls are drawn with the IBM PC's line characters.

Move with h, j, k and l, and press ? for help. S saves, and Q then y quits.
